BIG NEWS: We've started production on our new film DANIEL
Epic story of the prophet Daniel coming to life with vivid account of his early days in Babylon
This week UnveilTV begins production on our newest film in a slate of biblical dramas. The film is part of a multi-year plan by Unveil, which includes action-packed biblical epics, romantic comedies and hard-hitting documentaries.
About the film
It’s 597 B.C. Daniel and his brave friends are put to the test as the armies of Babylon take over Jerusalem. After the sudden raid and violent takeover, Daniel and the nobles from Judah are led through the desert into exile.
In Babylon, the shrewd and powerful Nebuchadnezzar has a vision to build a city that is the centre of the world, a place where the best men and women from all the kingdoms he conquers can thrive. All he asks for is loyalty.
But Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego know they must stand for truth, no matter what.
Against this backdrop of political intrigue, Daniel and his friends win the king's trust and powerful enemies along the way. But there’s more than their own lives at stake. The future of their people, in exile and in their beloved Jerusalem, hangs in the balance.
The beloved characters that we grew up with as brothers, in a household of faith-filled parents, are now the subject of our own film scripts, in stories that demand to be seen on a big screen with the people you love.
We’re excited to unveil some of the mysteries from the beloved story of DANIEL in a way that honours the faith of millions while inspiring more to believe for the first time.
This is a film about standing for truth, which we think is of critical importance in our time.

About the production
We’re thrilled to share that we’re working with a talented global team and that the first phase of production began this week in India.
is currently in India to capture first footage as we unroll our fundraising and pre-production plan and put seed money from investors to work. The scenes he’s shooting with a production unit in Rajasthan are based off the original script by The Kooman Brothers.
