"They thought the tiger could be kept inside the cage," Dr. Will Johnston says, in Episode 4, referencing the ever-widening expansion of assisted suicide in Canada. And boy were they wrong!
A recent report revealed that in Quebec more than 5,000 died by assisted suicide in 2022. For perspective, in 2021 there were just over 10,000 MAiD deaths in all of Canada. Death by assisted suicide now accounts for 7% of all deaths in the province. It suggests that 2022's medical assisted deaths in Canada will surely be even more shocking than last year’s reported 10,064 deaths.
And they are going to expand it even further.
